The Six-Day War:
In 1967, eleven years after the
first Suez War, [Port Said in December 1956.] a second war broke out, between Israel and three of its neighbours, Egypt, Jordan
and Syria. At the time I was serving with the UN Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO), which has had its Headquarters in
Jerusalem since 1948. The mission headquarters is located on a hilltop from where one has a complete view of both the Israeli
and Arab sectors of Jerusalem, including the Old City. The grounds had two gates to the outside world, one called the ”East
Gate” gave us access to Jordan. The other, known as ”Main Gate” connected us with the Israeli sectors of
Jerusalem. The buildings are known as Government House, for this was the seat of the British Governor during the Palestine
Mandate period. The hill on which Government House is located is known as Jebel al-Mukhabeer; which means the Hill of Evil

The Egyptian city of Port Said celebrated today its
spring feast in its special way, as it has manufactured dolls of the personalities they hate. In a huge public celebration
they burned dolls of US President Bill Clinton and his alleged mistress Monica Lewinsky as well as burning a doll of Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Clinton, who supports Israel, is considered the first US president whose doll has been
burned by the people of Port Said, while Netanyahu's doll was burned last year.

The port city for Cairo "City of the Dead":
Port Said is a northeastern Egyptian city near the
Suez Canal, with an approx. population of 500,000.
The economic base of Port Said is fishing and industries like chemicals,
processed food, and cigarettes. Port Said is also an important harbour both for exports of Egyptian products like cotton and
rice, but also a fuelling station for ships that pass through the Suez Canal. Port Said also thrives on being a duty-free
port, as well as a summer resort for Egyptians.
Port Said is in many ways Egypt's most beautiful city.
There are numerous old houses with grand balconies on all floors, giving the city a distinct charm. Port Said's twin city
is Port Fouad, which lies on the eastern side of the canal. The two cities coexist, to the extent that there hardly is any
town centre in Port Fouad. The cities are connected by free ferries running all through the day. Wikipedia.com
So what does New York and Port Said, Egypt have in
common? Originally, American's very own statue of Liberty was to be placed not in New York but at Port Said. The
Statue of Liberty was really inspired by the huge statues at Abu Simbel. Auguste Bartholdi, the sculptor of the statue
designed the American Lady of Liberty as 'Egypt carrying the light of Asia'. However, the Khedive Ismail decided that
the project was too expensive, so the 'Light of Asia' was sent to the US instead, where she became the Statue of Liberty.
The origins of Port Said is that of a working camp
founded in 1859 by Said Pasha to house men working on the Suez Canal. By the late 19th century, it was an important
port where all the major maritime powers had consulates. Much of the city was built on a section of Lake Manzala which
was reclaimed by landfill.
The City was damaged during the Suez Crisis, and again
during the wars of 1967 and 1973, but the city has largely been rebuilt and today is a pleasant city of 400,00 people.
It is also considered a summer resort by Egyptians and the beach is lined with vacation bungalows. The main street, with most
commercial enterprises, is Sharia Palestine. www.touregypt.net/portsaidtop.
History: Although Port Said is not yet 125 years old,
it has seen battles for freedom and independence. It was the target of the Tripartite Aggression in 1956, and witnessed acts
of bravery against the English and the French military, also during the War of Attrition (1967- 1973). People of Port Said,
at that time, have been evacuated to Lower Egypt Governorate.
The Port of Said is located at the Mediterranean entrance

Port Said is one of the wickedest cities in the world
- a meeting place for the evil of three continents. EA 171. Adapted.
It was built in 1859 as part of the Suez Canal project,
a shortcut for vessels coming from the Atlantic ocean to the Mediterranean sea, and also linking it to the Red sea and the
Indian Ocean. Named after the Khedive Mohamed Said who reigned Egypt from 1854 to 1863, the city was built on the European
19th Century architecture style with high verandas and wooden balconies.
Port Said was caught in the middle of the Arab-Israeli
war, especially between 1956 and 1967. The city was evacuated until the the October 1973 war, when Egypt regained most of
it's occupied land from Israel. It was now safe for the citizens of Port Said to go back home and rebuild their city after
the peace accord was signed between Egypt and Israel in 1979. Ever since, it has developed into a major trade and business
city.

The entire basis for this article is built around the
words of the Tibetan Master DK which were...
India, governed by Capricorn, has been a battlefield
right down the ages; Port Said, ruled by this sign, is synonymous with the satisfaction of all the earthly and animal desires
of the baser sort and is one of the wickedest cities in the world - a meeting place for the evil of three continents. EA 171.
EA refers to the book [one of twenty four] Esoteric
Astrology. EP = Esoteric Psychology. RI = The Rays And The Initiations. ect ect.
Out from all these books appeared a short reference
to a place in the Middle East of an intriguing nature to me, with its location, and history, the Suez Canal and all. I will
aim to be as clear as possible. The book material from DK and Alice Bailey relates to esoteric philosophy, which I have studied
for many years. So the whole approach is of a philosophically enquiring one.
The Keynote of the thesis is contained around the words
that it is one of the wickedest cities in the world! This is quit a powerful statement and one of great importance I think.
It goes on to say that the evil of three continents meet at this port city. I was intrigued as to weather there was any more
info on the web which may possibly substantiate this in an exoteric manner. That is, concur and indicate how this statement
may be upheld if you like.
Briefly as we might imagine, any port city or port
of any kind may be the point of focus for the baser things in worldly life. i.e. illegal trafficking of material goods or
men or women, drugs. The indulging in the satisfaction of the sexual nature and violence by those sailing into and out from
such a port. ect ect. All told and imagined, one may quickly summarize a few short examples in our minds as to what would
go on in such a city at that time, remembering that Port Said is here named at that time as being "one of the wickedest" particularly
owing to its capricornian nature. So a brief run through of other references drawn from the web proved interesting and worth
including.
Further to this it is said, it is the meeting place
for the evil of three continents. So this seems to be a point, which focuses the evil as it is brought by man as they enter
from afar for their trade and clandestine dealings! These three continents I think seem to be Africa, Asia [India] and Europe.
So we might imagine the steady drift into this port city of the conglomerate nature of baser earthly desire ect from these
three huge land masses. I think that the term 'middle East' is somewhat indicative of the phrase "meeting point" in this paper
particularly if we bear in mind the words of the master that Palestine should no longer be regarded as a holy place. JPC.
